Markhouse Ward City Safe continues to go from strength to strength and new outlets have joined us this year.
As well as signing up more shops to be active safe havens, the City Safe team have been visiting existing members and promoting the great benefit they provide in offering an area of safety to young people.
In the New Year we will be meeting as a team more regularly and encouraging more local businesses to sign up to the charter of:
Reporting all incidents and anti-social behaviour to the police to help them police the area more effectively; Offer their premises as a safe haven to a young person in immediate danger;
Ensure that alcohol and knives are not sold to underage or drunk people;
Encourage staff to attend London City Safe training.
