Pop-up cafe in Thomas Gamuel Park

Kids riding bikes in park towards the cafe with people sat a tables and chairs outside it.

Gallant local volunteers run a delightful cafe in Thomas Gamuel Park. On the first Sunday of each month between 12 and 4pm they serve tea and coffee, juice, cakes and snacks. Talented and kind cooks make and donate sweet and savoury dishes to be sold. It is a fantastic community effort!!

The proceeds typically go towards projects in the QBC area. Sometimes the funds are used in aid of other causes such as relief for victims of war in Ukraine or floods in Pakistan. Thousands of pounds have been raised so far.

A huge thank you to everyone who gives up their time to help out! There are too many of you to name here but you know who you are! From setting up, serving, washing up, clearing up, to baking (stunningly delicious) cakes!
